we were not the hired photographers, so i laid back here and happened to shoot at the same moment
their flash went off. i never use my flash or stand in a prime location when there is a pro shooting.
the best angles should always be given to the people who were paid to be there.

i asked if they would attempt to hang spoons off their noses.
the groom was a little more successful than the bride.

you may also recognize the bride as daisy chains, from madison's peach pies  :)

We attended Amanda and Andrew's wedding yesterday! Such a fun pair! They walked down the aisle as man and wife to the theme song for Futurama. You can see all images here, if you like. Hubster took several of these shots too.

Many, many happy years ahead to the wonderful couple! <3

There’s little left of my grandparents' farm, but the phone in the milkhouse is still connected. It rang while I was standing there taking this photo.

Final project for drawing class, which we were allowed to pick our medium. I went with oil on canvas (shoes).

To clarify, I wasn't trying to make any political statement here. Solely going for the pun.

Solely...get it? I'm here are week, folks!

camping, 2 mi.

Taken in November, a few miles north of us. For camping, head farther northeast. It's right next to a nice little nine-hole golf course. I hear that the bar has free wings on Sunday afternoons. Which might hold you over until the snow melts and you can golf again.

Enjoy your stay.

this blog is my "live" photo album of sorts. occasionally, i'll throw in some art i've done or some work of my husband's as he's an artist as well. we have a nice yard in a quiet neighborhood with two pugs and a cat, all black. which most of my photos will attest too. ;) i'd love to hear from you, but happy for you to just browse. hope you find something to make you smile. b.
