collapsing/cream brick goat house

collapsing

cream brick goat house

Some wonderful old buildings in the farmland between Edgerton and Cambridge, Wisconsin. If you look closely at the brick building, you'll see it houses goats. If anyone had been around, I probably would've asked if I could shoot inside. I was curious to see how many goats were climbing in the rafters. But then, hubby was waiting in the car, so he probably wouldn't have been too excited about that prospect. Considering he didn't bring a book or anything along with him.

dawn- yes. sad, but beautiful. i'm drawn to old structures like this...

tex- yup! there's another outside to the far left, but i just had the 50mm lens on.

my dad salvaged an old cupola that just sits on their lawn in the backyard. maybe i should give him a call on their behalf. ;o)

Mine would have passed out, too..well, after giving that long suffering look he gets when I bail out of the car.

Love the first building, and those goats..LOL!!

This will be my next experience, for future reports: having my husband stop the car and wait for me as I take a picture of something...LOL.

I love the buildings!

So sad to see the old barns is such disrepair. I'd definitely be asking to scavenge something from it, but I'm sure it's already spoken for. :(

these are my favorite kind of buildings to shoot....and if nobody was around, well if you were with me, we would have gone up to count the goats....i'm a bad trespasser.....

and my poor hubby has also spent lots of time in the car waiting....good thing we married saints :)

this blog is my "live" photo album of sorts. occasionally, i'll throw in some art i've done or some work of my husband's as he's an artist as well. we have a nice yard in a quiet neighborhood with two pugs and a cat, all black. which most of my photos will attest too. ;) i'd love to hear from you, but happy for you to just browse. hope you find something to make you smile. b.
